Carrot-shaped pink radish with compact, dark foliage. Good for bunching and works well both in greenhouses and in open fields. Radishes are grown similarly to regular radishes; consistent access to water is important.

The radish will grow larger and have a stronger flavor. Radishes harvested late can be cold-stored for a period. Radishes are a good crop to grow in late summer and autumn, as they are not very sensitive to low temperatures and can tolerate a few degrees above freezing.

However, if sown too early in spring with a lot of light and long days, there is a risk of bolting. Common in Japanese and other Asian cuisine.
