Summit is the earliest variety in the range, and despite being a variety that has been around for many years, it is becoming more and more popular. The variety has the great advantage of maturing early, which means that even if it gets downy mildew, it usually manages to develop.

Despite Summit being so early, it is one of the varieties that stores best. One should be aware that the root system is not very strong, which is why it is an advantage if irrigation is available or if it is grown on heavier soil. The skin quality is very good and the color of the skin is on the lighter side.
