Padrón is a cone-shaped chili variety most famous for being eaten fried or grilled. This is a mild chili, approximately 500-5,000 Scoville units, with a characteristic that has earned it the nickname "Russian roulette": About 1 in 10-20 fruits turn out to be genuinely hot.
